European Diversity Awards 2023
Celebrating the amazing individuals, organisations, companies, charities and networks that drive Diversity, Inclusion and Equality into the heart of everything they do.
Launched in 2010, the European Diversity Awards are now firmly established as the continent’s most prestigious and widely respected Diversity event.
Attended by leading lights from business, politics and the media, the EDA recognises those individuals and organisations whose outstanding leadership has made a genuine difference to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda.
We recognise achievement across all strands of Diversity: age, disability, gender, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, social mobility and sexual orientation

Kamali Melbourne
Our Host
Kamali Melbourne began working in television news at ITV Central in Birmingham. He joined the Channel 4 News team and worked as a producer on some seminal stories including the election of 2010, the Riots of 2011, and the Scottish independence referendum. He then spent a year shooting business features around Europe for Bloomberg before going to Istanbul as an Anchor for TRT World.
On his return to the UK, he joined Sky News to present The Early Rundown. In that time, Kamali was on air to break Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and fronted some of the channel’s coverage of the Edinburgh Television Festival. He was also at Downing Street for the departure of Boris Johnson and was part of Sky’s coverage of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
